Student-Centered, Personalized Learning in Policy and Practice

CEO of Teach Plus, Roberto Rodriguez, explains that personalized learning requires a “shift in perspective from the teacher at the center of the classroom, to the students in the classroom themselves.” This means that there needs to be an advancement in the education system so that students are at the center of learning.

Student-center learning, supports personalized learning because it puts students at the heart of teaching. This further proves the point of creating a space where students feel comfortable, in turn allowing them to fulfill their potential in the classroom.
